Gretna Youth Cheer will focus on teaching the fundamentals of sideline cheer, confidence, positivity and good sportsmanship, while cheering on our teams!

Grade Levels:
3rd - 8th grade students can register to cheer for GYSF Football games.  Squads of 6-12 students, split into grade level groups to ensure best development of 3 main cheer skills .

** With the new cheer curriculum, friend / sibling / team requests will be considered but NOT guaranteed.

** It is NOT guaranteed that your cheerleader will be cheering for a sibling's tackle football team.

Practices:
3-5 squad practices to learn cheers before the 1st game.  One Parade practice.

Games:
Each squad will cheer for a minimum of 6 football games.   Sunday Games ONLY.

Coaches:
Each squad will have a high school coach and 1-2 volunteer cheer parents.

Uniform Cost
  *  $175 per cheerleader
        *  Includes skirt, shell, briefs, liner, pom-poms, and bow.  -- Must wear own white shoes & socks
 
  *  Male uniform option available

  *  Uniform fitting date TBD end May @ Gretna High School

Registration Cost
  *  $275 first child (plus $3 website fee) -- Signup by April 15 and receive $25 off
  *  $25 off for each additional child

** NOTE:  Program discounts ONLY available within the same program (flag, tackle, cheer)

Uniforms will be purchased through Varsity.  A local uniform representative will set up a time to do a uniform fitting for all apparel items.  Parents will go online to pay for the uniforms through Varsity.
